TANIWHA - The Lore

Hi there ! I'm currently trying to create a story based on my short TANIWHA, with the final objective to animate it.
I loved creating this short so much and imagining a world inspired by Maori culture/mythology, but I felt like I had opened a door without going through it.
It's certainly ambitious, so I'm not even sure if I'll achieve it one day or get tired of it very soon and move on to another project... But for now I'm motivated, so let's go !
I have already written the lore, the main characters and the major axes of the story, and now I have to write/develop each episodes... And that's the part where I suck the most ^^' I also have to think how tell the story to make it adaptable on animation... It's gonna be a long journey, but I accept the challenge to see how far I can go !
For now, I decided to post some of the visual parts of the work ( I can't put too much without spoil you ), it can be considered as a pre-production work. I hope you enjoy it ! :)
